【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationcoversnon-powderguns,commonlyreferredtoasBBguns,airguns,andpelletguns,whichpropelaprojectilebymeansofenergyreleasedbycompressedair,compressedgas,mechanicalspringaction,oracombinationthereof,andistobeusedinconjunctionwithSpecificationF590.1.2Special-purposematchprecisionandadultguns,asdefinedin3.1andclassifiedin8.1and8.2,areexemptfromtheperformancerequirementsfortriggermechanisms(see4.3),safetymechanisms(see1.3),anddroptests(see4.5).1.3Special-purposetrainingguns,asdefinedin3.1andclassifiedin8.3,areexemptfromtheperformancerequirementsforthesafetymechanism(see4.4).1.4LimitationsThisconsumersafetyspecificationdoesnotcoverthefollowingcategoriesofgunproducts:clcustom-madenon-powderguns(see3.1.2.6);orreplicaguns(see3.1.2.15);tranquilizerdartguns;toyproductssuchasrubber-bandguns,corkguns,popguns,rubber-tipdartguns,orpeaandbeanshooters;otherrecreational-typegunssuchasblowguns,spearguns,catapultguns(alsoidentifiedasslingshots),bows,crossbows,paintballmarkers,airsoftorsoftairguns,orcarbideguns;nonrecreationalgunssuchasthoseusedbylawenforcement,scientific,ormilitaryagencies;norindustrialandconsumertoolssuchaspaintballguns,stapleguns,orconduitguns.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard;theSIunitsinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.6Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section9,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
