【摘要】:Thepurposeofthistestmethodistodeterminetheamountoforganicnitrogenpresentwithinasampleofelectricalinsulationpaperorpaperboard.Nitrogencontentisusedtodetermineifthepaperorpaperboardhasbeenchemicallytreatedtowithstandhigherthannormaloperatingtemperatures.Suchapaperorpaperboardisreferredtointheindustryasx201C;thermallyupgraded.x201D;Apaperorpaperboardthatisthermallyupgradedcanwithstandhigheroperatingtemperaturesandallowtheelectricalequipmenttohavealongerusefullifespan.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofnitrogenousorganicmaterialsinpaperandpaperboard,whichtypicallyareusedtoreducethethermaldegradationofthecelluloseinthepaperandpaperboard.1.2Thenitrogendeterminationbythismethoddoesnotincludethenitrogeninnitrocompounds,nitrates,nitrites,azo,hydrazine,cyanide,orpyridinering-typecompounds,noneofwhicharenormallyfoundinpaperandpaperboard.Thereisnoknownmodificationofthemethodthatisapplicabletoallnitrogenouscompounds.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.
