【摘要】:Knowledgeofanapprovedmethodisrequiredtoestablishwhethertheproductmeetstherequirementsofitsspecifications.Theuseofglycolsinthereferencesampleisnotintendedtosuggestthepresenceofglycol(EG,PGandDPG)impurities,buttodemonstrateandquantifytheseparationofcommonlyusedEngineCoolantglycolsfromPDO.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthegaschromatographicdeterminationofpurityfor1,3-propanediol(PDO).Thistestmethodwasoriginallydevelopedtodeterminethepurityof1,3-propanediolusedfortheapplicationasthefreezepointdepressantbasefluidinformulatedPDOenginecoolants.UseofthemethodforpurityofPDOforotherapplicationsmaybeviable.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3ReviewthecurrentMaterialSafetyDataSheets(MSDS)fordetailedinformationconcerningtoxicity,firstaidprocedures,andsafetyprecautions.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
